Love The Mess Out

When someone is feeling angry or empty, the last thing they need is for someone to be critical and judgmental. Being judgmental toward someone who is hurting can lead them to hurt even more. It can push them away from the love of God. The goal is bring people to God by loving them where they are. Let God do the fixing. The Bible says for the rest of us to have faith and love. Galatians 5:6 NIV says "the only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love" The only thing that will help someone is stepping out in faith and operating in love not pointing the finger.
We are free to walk in love but people can sometimes forget to do that. For example, telling a young teenage girl who is pregnant she should be ashamed of herself is not operating in love but according to the flesh. Instead choose to find a way to help. Offer to take her to a doctor appointment, pray with her or provide a meal. Be that example, that light in her life. These acts of love will open the door for her to receive God in her heart. 
You may be the only God that people may see. Treating people without love doesn't represent Jesus. As a parent, we want our children to behave, especially when they are around other people. Of course, we don't want our children to get hurt or be disobedient for their own sakes. We also want our children to represent us. When people see our how children are, they know how we are at home behind closed doors. We have to represent God the same way by walking in love toward others. Make God proud and present Him well.
Galatians 5:13-14 NIV says " You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh rather, serve one another humbly in love.  For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

We can save one another through love. Love the mess out of someone.

Nevertheless

Have you ever felt overwhelmed with life and asked God why you were going through? Have you ever felt like you didn't have the strength to do what God was telling you to do? 

Sometimes God will send us down paths we don't expect and want Him too. The path from our view, looks full of mountains and curves that we will have to get around. We may not always fully understand why God has us on the path He has us on, but it makes since to Him. The path may cause us  to question God. It's abnormal to  say "why God?"  or "Lord when is this going to end?" 

God sent us a great example of how to get through those trying times when we are like, if there is any other way. Jesus knew the road He had to take to become Lord. He questioned God in Luke 22:42 before they were going to take Him to be crucified. "saying, 'Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours be done.' "

Even though it's something WE don't want to do, we have to trust God's will for our life. God has spoken and we must do what He says. He has a purpose for everything we go through. We may not see the purpose but God does. 

I can think of many examples; one of my favorite's is in the movie The original: Karate Kid, the teacher had the student painting fences and waxing cars. At first the student was extremely excited about the lessons but then he started to get tired and not understand the purpose. He got impatient and asked the teacher why am I doing this? I'm ready to do karate. The movement he was doing while waxing the cars and painting fences was actually preparing him for the karate moves. The hard work he was doing had purpose but the student didn't know but the teacher did. When the student saw how useful the moves were in a fight, he trusted the teacher. The teacher had the student's best interest in mind the whole time, even though he didn't understand. The student should have said, nevertheless.

While we may not understand God all the time, know that God has your best interest in mind. It's best to follow His will because unlike us, He can see the end of the road, over the mountains, around the curves and through the woods. When God tells us to do something we really don't want to do, do it anyhow. After every storm He provides a great ending. Instead of being disobedient to God and try to do things your own way, take a deep breath then say nevertheless.
