Why Am I Sick?

Isaiah 53:05 NIV version says, "But He(Jesus) was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed."

Many people seem like they are always sick. It seems like no matter what they take something is always happening whether it be a stuffy/ runny nose or cough. If you are a Christian then you are supposed to be the righteousness of God. Yes things come some times as a test of our faith but it should not last forever. If a person is sick and they are a Christian they should ask God first. Ask God for healing powers, ask Him and then praise Him for the healing. If it does not come right away continue to seek Him for understanding. When God shows you why you are sick, do what He says.

Do not give up on God. It is OK to take medicine to get rid of the symptoms but go a little deeper spiritually if you want to get rid of the sickness completely. Let God do it. God is a healing God. Jesus came to give us life more abundantly as stated in the Bible John 10:10.

If you are not a Christian but you are looking to be healed. You can ask Jesus into your life. Ask Him for forgiveness of your sins. Then tell Him you believe that He died on the cross and rose on the third day. He is sitting in heaven with God. Then ask Him to enter into your heart and renew your life to where it is pleasing in His sight. Ask Him to heal your body and to make you whole on the inside and out. Then praise Him by thanking Jesus for salvation, healing and a new life as a Christian. Pray in Jesus name. Amen.

It is important to find local church that teaches the true word of God. Ask God to let the Holy Spirit lead you to the right church. Let it be a church where you can serve and be involved. Remember that you are a Child of God and He loves you.
